if you are approaching the dublin interchange. look at this live look. westbound 580 i haven't seen this backed up in a while. a couple of big rigs crashed into each other near the dublin interchange. two lanes are getting by but two lanes remain closed and it's jamming back towards at least airway boulevard. checking the drive time right now, it is up to 672 minutes so it's more than an hour right now take you from the altamont pass to the dublin interchange. you may want to consider using isabel, stanley another good option. westbound 580 at a slow crawl. a second traffic alert is in dixon. a medical helicopter left the scene, this was a double overturn crash eastbound 80 approaching dixon avenue. one lane getting by but stacking up towards vacaville. bart, there still may be residual delays. we are hoping things begin to improve but earlier they were doing track maintenance near the embarcadero station. so probably about five- to ten- minute delays in both directions. that is traffic. back to you. >> thank you. > >>> not everything is going as planned this morning but the ceremon

in the west oakland to san francisco direction and out to pittsburg-bay point and dublin- pleasanton. caltrain, ace, everything reporting no delay. let's get a check outside show you some of our live traffic cameras out there this morning. so far, so good if you are traveling up 880 into oakland. no delay. there was some overnight roadwork but it looks like they should have picked that up just within the last few minutes. san mateo bridge similar story westbound 92 moving at the limit and if you are heading towards the dublin interchange we are beginning to see some delays now through livermore but the drive time is still about 20 minutes between the altamont pass and the dublin interchange. that's a check of your "timesaver traffic." back to you guys. >> thank you. >>> president obama will visit boston today to attend a service honoring victims of the marathon bombings on monday. the death toll from monday's explosion still remains at 3 with more than 170 injured including some who of course had limbs amputated from that bombing. surveillance video appears to be the focus of the investigation

. eurozone finance ministers have approved a bailout for cyprus. ministers meeting in dublin signed off on a 10 billion euro package for the island country. >> 9 billion euros will be coming from the european union. 1 billion from the international monetary fund. at the same time, the ministers rejected reports that cyprus would be granted additional aid. the bailout still needs approval of eurozone member states. our brussels reporter sent us this wrap up of the finance ministers' meeting in dublin. >> i think the biggest news is that cyprus is ready. there were rumors that they might need more money and that there might be new negotiations, which would have caused a lot of chaos for the eurozone again, but this is obviously not the case, and they managed to calm down the situation, but the finance ministers also made clear that the share which the eurozone and imf is playing is like the red line, and for the rest, the cypriots are responsible to come up with the money. that might be bailing out banks. that might be privatization for also hire taxis, but there was also other good news

. it turns out that the town is only 60 miles southwest of the dublin airport. place my family lived is 75 miles from dublin. it is 2007 and i'm sitting in the tibrare studies department in the library in require land looking for books and reading the microfilm of every county tibrare daily nurl from january first 1847 through december 31st 1849. i'm looking for family history and in particular one ancestor who disapeered between 1848 and 1849. james lacy. from what i read in these local newspapers is looks like the people's history of require land during the great hunger, my people's history, was never record indeed books. nor barely mentioned in any newspapers. you will only find mention of the local people if something unusual happened. the librarian tells me. i read the newspaper so i know that unusual is the polite word for murdered or murderer. why else would a poor person's name apeer in the news? why do i think the newspapers then report differently from today's news? i'm here in ireland reading every paper just in case. i will move ahead. the lacies lived in cottage and palace. in

to leave havana for dublin, where some of the most famous writers i keep admiring were born, and also dreaming of paris where my grandparents, my grandfather, spend many important years of his life. also i want to move to my place, i don't know what was the name of that place. every time people call me la englicita, the little english woman because in cuba, in the caribbean, they didn't make any difference. all the irish were english. and all the people from asia were chinese. all the jews were called polacos, polish. that is interesting because the irish were part of the spanish community in cuba, but usually they didn't make the difference. so they call me and they call my father el inglis, the english guy. so when they call me that and when my name suffered many different spellings. later on in life, in the 70's, i had many identification cards with names like coffee that i didn't drink at the time, so i began drinking coffee later on, names like caufildo and garfield, my favorite one, that made me wonder if the bureaucrats at the id office knew that i really love cats. without my

now we been tracking hot spot on interstate 580 at the dublin and change and westbound direction. two big rig collided and blocked three of the five lanes westbound. just recently the second big rig was towed away. one additional line was open. mike pelton is still on the scene as more information on weekend expects this to clear. >> they're still waiting for the cleaning crew to come out and clean up the debris that's all over the roadway. that is really the only thing stopping sfo from opening all five lanes. this is after one big rig rare and a second big rig. they have both been towed away but the front end of one of the cabs was totally smashed and. the driver of the second big rig was transported to a hospital with some sort of injury. he has been transported and traffic here is just trying to survive. traffic is briskly moving past this accident. you can see just a mass of back up here at the scene of the accident. everyone is trying to funnel down to the remaining three lanes. i'm sure this extends quite a ways back. >> it extends all back to the also not pass. have we heard a

at how five ride on interstate 680. if you drive walnut creek to dublin in the early morning hours you expect about a 15 minute commute time. this morning it will be about 20 minutes. and accidents southbound at crow canyon road ver. we're also looking at wind advisories this morning for a number of bay area bridges. highway 92, amid based transit now as you head over towards foster city, drive times look good but advisories' in place, especially for high profile vehicles. your ride to the dumbarton bridge is also affected. we have a live look from the toll plaza of the dumbarton bridge. at the bay bridge, no wind advisory but the metering lights are ready activated and started to back up and the westbound direction. the golden gate bridge ride is still pretty easy as you come in from marin county. >> the senate is set to begin in gun control debate this week , and a proposal to expand background checks on some gun buyers has picked up some key republican support. republican senator susan collins of maine says she will support the proposal that requires background checks for people buy
